MONCYTE Health to Present at EAS 2026 in Athens 2912 1632 MONCYTE Health

MONCYTE Health will be attending the European Atherosclerosis Society Congress 2026 in Athens, Greece, as an exhibitor with booth #13 and presenting new research on the role of high-intensity statin therapy in circulating foamy monocyte biology.

Siina Pamilo, DSc, Data Scientist at MONCYTE Health, will present the abstract Effect of High Intensity Statin Medication on Circulating Foamy Monocytes in Healthy Individuals on May 25, 2026, from 13:30 to 14:30.
Location: Station 04, as part of the SaaG Session on Cellular LDL Handling and Intracellular Lipid Metabolism at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre.

The work explores how statin-induced changes in monocyte behavior may offer new insight into residual cardiovascular risk — a question that sits at the core of what MONCYTE Health is building toward: a deeper, cell-level understanding of atherosclerotic disease that goes beyond traditional lipid markers.

If you are working in lipid metabolism, dyslipidaemia, cardiovascular risk, or preventive cardiology, visit us at booth #13 to discuss new approaches to precision medicine in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease!
